I can see that. Sounds like a good open source project. IBM gave us the
tools, now make it display the way you want.

Frankly I can think of dozens of other things I would rather have IBM spend
development time/money on than something like this. It's a matter of
priorities.

The problem is the tool gives the same message regardless of the state of
the PTFs. Would be great if there was a "IBM i Updates" dashboard that told
me everything about all licensed programs in one glance of the eye.
Or maybe there is such a thing and I am ignorant.

I'm not sure there is an error or problem with this. The tool is
looking at what's applied, and clearly your three groups are not
applied. Furthermore just because you have them loaded, but not
applied does not mean there is not a newer version out there. I get
where your thinking is going, but I just don't see the problem here.
Those three groups are not applied therefore you need to get them and
apply them. The fact that you already have them (in this case current
ones) is not what the tool was trying to determine.

I am pretty sure I ran into this earlier this week but figured I
forgot to do something. I didn't think to go into WRKPTFGRP. I've
submitted my vote.

I submitted a RFE to address this. If this affects you and you'd
