IBM i - Licensing and Entitlement with PTF installation

Hi Guys & Girls,

I have a question around whether I am entitled to apply a Technology
Refresh and/or PTF’s without SWMA.

The target system was taken off SW Maintenance some time back and I want to
know if I am legally entitled to apply PTF’s to this system.
Or do I have to re-enter into a SWMA to apply TR and or PTF’s to this
system.

I have another system that is fully Licensed with SWMA and am entitled to
download the IBM I V7.1 PTF’s and TR’s for this system – no problems with
this system.

Look forward to your advice.

BTW: I have logged a query with IBM but waiting for their reply.
