There is a full join way down in the bowels of one of the views that are incorporated into the CTE so I guess it is possible. Since we have our own workaround (which was only being used in testing) we won’t attempt to apply your option. We are in the process of extricating the required tables and reporting this to IBM.

Thanks.

Jon,

Are you using a FULL join in your CTEs?

We opened a PMR with IBM last year to address a Full Join issue with SQL on V7R1.

IBM told us they won't fix the issue until at least V7R3.

We were able to work around the issue in our CTE by including an extra unused column from the "left" table of a Full Join.
