Hey Bryan, I haven't tried the APIs myself, but I was wondering why you
say the Python code did not work well on IBM i. If it's something wrong
with Python, we would like to fix that.

Subject: HMC REST APIs

I was wondering if anyone has tried using the HMC REST APIs that became
available in V8
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/9119-MHE/p8ehl/concepts/
ApiOverview.htm?cp=9119-MHE&lang=en

I've found some example that use cURL and Python(windows).
the python code did not work very well on the IBM i.

Was wondering if this would be something that could be used the Scott's
HTTPAPI. I would think so, as you just login, then request info, then
parse it out.

Seem like the new SQL HTTP services could also be used.
now that i'm typing i suppose Node.js would work.

Just curious,
Bryan
