After changing to QPWDLVL=3 and IPLing my system I can still do open up a
list of shares from my PC and see the contents of those shares.

However when I try
WRKLNK '/QNTC/QPWDLVL3LPAR/*'
from some lpar running at 0 I do not see the shares listed.
If I try
WRKLNK '/QNTC/QPWDLVL3LPAR/MYSHARE/*'
I get
CPFA0A9 - Object not found. Object is '/QNTC/QPWDLVL3LPAR/MYSHARE'

Both WRKLNK's have a diagnostic message you have to look for
CPDB053 - Error exchanging security information for user ROB on network
server GDI.
The error class was 1, and the error code was 5.
Class 1 - Network server operating system related error.
5 - Access denied.

After a few attempts you will get the following on the target machine:
CPIB682 - User profile ROB disabled for IBM i Support for Windows Network
Neighborhood access.
From job . . . . . . . . . . . : QZLSSERVER
User . . . . . . . . . . . . : QPGMR
Number . . . . . . . . . . . : 038391

Is this one of those things that will clear up when all lpars are at level
3?
