Rob,

1) A hint on mapped drives.
They don't like mixed case passwords.
User either all upper or all lower case for your AS/400 password.

2) I thought you used the SAVRST*** commands.

3) The reason we still use STRPASTHR, is when they sign off or exit the target machine, it auto returns them to the source machine.
I can't do that with TELNET.
If there is a way, I would to know how to do that.

Well, I could use WRKLNK '/QNTC/thislpar/*' which is like mapped network drive.
But, I am having problems trying a mapped drive from my PC. I'll have to look at that.

You didn't specify what kind of DDM file so I used this CRTDDMF FILE(QTEMP/RCO) RMTFILE(ERPLXF/RCO) RMTLOCNAME(gdi *IP) instead of the SNA defaults.
I was then able to successfully use
dsppfm qtemp/rco
and
SBMRMTCMD CMD('dspfd erplxf/rco output(*print)') DDMFILE(QTEMP/RCO)

I don't want to mess with SNA just to try stuff I see no purpose for. Like why use STRPASTHR when you have TELNET?
SAVRST* is a different story but I don't want to set SNA back up for that either.

Good suggestions though. You helped me decide I need to look at the mapped drive thing.
