Here's a question you need to ask yourself:

How does a server job running on the IBM i (consuming a SEQUEL license)
know that the user has terminated the client program (ViewPoint) on the PC?

The license gets released for reuse when ViewPoint is ended normally, right?

You might be able to rig up something based on inactivity, but you could
kill sessions that are still connected without creating any network traffic
for an extended period of time (like programmers going to lunch without
closing sessions). Maybe that's not a bad thing if you have a limited
number of licenses available.

As mentioned, HelpSystems does provide a tool that will allow an operator
to terminate associated jobs, as long as you can figure out which one is
the orphan.
