Many thanks. The CHGTCPDMN command on the V5R1 server shows the local host
name and domian name and I don't think that that should be changed. When I
said 'myhostname' above, perhaps I should have put 'myremotesvr'

If it is correct and you can reach the domain name server, does the domain
