I have one client still on V5R4. Their iSeries software vendor got purchased
by a Windows-centric vendor, and they've gotten zero enhancements other than
for governmental mandates.
They're leaving the platform. I've got another huge client current on V7R1
who is also leaving the platform because their vendor (Computer Guidance
Corp) was purchased by the same Windows-centric vendor.
Both of these clients are moving to the competitor of the aforementioned
vendor.
