SPOT ON. DD Sucks, has sucked, currently sucketh, has always sucked, and
will suck into the future. And I don't like it much either. My shop vac
has less suck than DD.

Even when it works it's not very friendly. As Jim pointed out it's
trying to out-think you on saving downloads etc. But that extra work to
figure out where those other copies are and getting all together takes
way longer than just downloading again.

Perhaps when we were just leaving Modems for DSL etc it was reasonable
but heck many have triple digit even quad digit speeds these days. Just
make with the FTP already!!!
