P=Physical file
In this case I believe it is calling it a P because a straight FTP instead
of a file transfer will not have a truly externally defined table.
For example, if on my PC I dir
DIR >DIROUT.TXT
NOTEPAD DIROUT.TXT
and trim off the header and the footer so that it at least looks somewhat
formatted.
Then I ftp this (in ascii mode) to a new file on my IBM i it creates a
file with one field named the same as the file.
Might be a snooty thing on it's part but it refuses to call that a table.
