There's a few things to consider here:
- Simply transferring an Excel spreadsheet from your PC to somewhere in
the IFS on your IBM i
or
- Trying to take data from an Excel spreadsheet and transfer it into a DB2
file in the /QSYS.LIB file system.

If you are trying to do the latter then there's other things to consider.
1 - Are you willing to use the Excel plug-in to transfer data from Excel
directly into a DB2 file, or
2 - Are you trying to use the Data Transfer from IBM i Access Client
Solutions?
3 - Are you trying to use the deprecated IBM i Client Access for Windows
Data Transfer?

If you're using 3 I won't help you.

But the basic thing to remember is that the DB2 file has to exist. The
transfer will not create one.
