IBM has tried in the past just to remove the capability for the RPG
compiler to compile S/36 code. They even announced it was going away at a
certain release. It got pushed back. Later, plans to drop it were
dropped instead. IBM got tired of fighting that battle.

My 7.2 machine still has
CRTS36DSPF QSYS Create S/36 Display File
CRTS36MNU QSYS Create S/36 Menu
CRTS36MSGF QSYS Create S/36 Message File
CRTS36RPG QSYS Create RPG II Program
CRTS36RPGR QSYS Create Console Display File
CRTS36RPT QSYS Create S/36 RPG II Auto Report
