You could look at a reverse proxy to handle the TLS if the move off 6.1 is an issue.

For another thread... I'll have to find out what the processes and gotchas
are of going from v6.1 to 7.1 or later. I used to do 2 or 3 system upgrades
per year, but no longer. We do it so infrequently that I'm no longer
