It sounds like this may be a migration from Progress to IBM i. If so,
congratulations to those who are making it happen.

Actually, a transformation from CSV to IBM i DB, using field definition
files (the FLDDFNFILE parameter of the CPYFRMIMPF command), seems like a
viable alternative, as the first step.
