Run dsplog for the time period you want, and look and see what jobs are
running.
Prompt on DSPLOG MSGID(CPF1124 CPF1164)
That will restrict it to jobs entering and exiting the system. Set the
time frame and you should be able to tell what ended right before you
backup started.

Something is colliding with our daily backup and delaying it and then
the EOD process is not running in the correct time causing all kinds of
issues.
