I have just installed Legasuite as part of JDE World A9.3 at a client site.
Not using SSL at this point.
Still getting my feet wet with this, still looking at configuration options and features.

Java may be an issue in that we need to roll out Java to the PCs that may not have it.
My initial frustration was using Chrome as my browser, I had to switch to Firefox for this app.
First test on a user PC we found that Java was not installed (or not up to date).
Client has a small user base so this may be just an annoyance for us.

Subject: Rocket Legasuite GUI Engine for iSeries - 7.5.2 configured for a Java Client

I've just finished configuring Legasuite GUI Engine for iSeries 7.5.2, to be used with a Java Client.
SSL enabled with 256sha Wild Card cert.
7.5.1 had an issue with Wild Card certs, need to be 7.5.2 or above.

Limited testing done thus far.
We need to roll out a test plan, to a limited group.
Hopefully we can go live in a few months.

Anyone else using the Legasuite GUI products, (Replaced Jwalk).
Also curious if any desktop nightmares, since the PC is Java dependent.

Browser Support
LegaSuite GUI Engine supports LegaSuite Windows, ActiveX, HTML Clients and Java Clients. Ensure that the correct browser is used for each client.
? LegaSuite Java and Windows Clients continue to function normally in Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or 9 (Oracle JVM 1.7).
? LegaSuite Java Clients running on a MacIntosh machine require Mac OS 8.1 (minimum).
? For the HTML (ASP and JSP) Client, the following browsers are supported.
? Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or 9 with medium security settings, or custom settings with Active scripting enabled.
? Netscape Navigator,
? Mozilla Firefox,
? Opera,
? Apple Macintosh OS/X Safari browser with JavaScript enabled.
? Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer (for devices running Microsoft Windows CE).

Thank You
