in place of the find command you may also try the RTVDIRINF command

if doing the entire IFS there was a PTF recently that allowed for omitting of directories.

but if you know the dir you are looking for this maybe an option

Ok I can journal IFS objects that's pretty cool, and I can journal read
attempts. I'm tring the following at the moment to look for the file SBMJOB
CMD(QSH CMD('find / -name ca-bundle.crt > cert.fnd.log')). I'll ask the
client if I can try the journal way next.
