I normally test with two different browsers: FireFox and Internet
Explorer. You can have your own pet browser as a backup.
When it fails I normally clear my browser's cache. I am finding that MANY
IBM sites have me clearing the cache on FF quite regularly.
If they continue to fail I call IBM and open a PMR. Actually I normally
do it via their internet site because:
- The phone requires you to listen to their mandatory message on what an
idiot you are for not using their website.
- The person who opens your ticket will only enter every 3rd word (if
you're lucky) into the ticket while using the website allows you to be
effective.
