RE: DB2 Multisystem -- holy $%&#

IBM rejected my request to unbundle local partitioning from DB2
Multisystem. So what's next? Because we sure aren't going to buy DB2
Multisystem. No way, no how. Too over priced. That and we have little
to no interest in subsetting our data by server location.

If they came out with a subset of DB2 Multisystem that allowed you to do
local partitioning only I wonder how much management would pay for it?
What are your honest opinions? Keep in mind I'm asking for realistic
figures. Not the kind of initial offers you throw at a car dealership.
