Does anyone know if there are any PTFs needed to create an ENCODED VECTOR INDEX on V7R1? No matter how I code the syntax, I get SQL0199, SELECT not expected. I am using examples from IBM handouts. Here is my example:

CREATE ENCODED VECTOR INDEX MYLIB/CR66272 ON MYLIB/TABLE001
(CORP, TYPE, IDNO, ID#, MAJOR, MINOR) INCLUDE(SUM(AMOUNT))

SELECT
CORP, TYPE, IDNO, ID#, MAJOR, MINOR, SUM(AMOUNT) FROM
MYLIB/TABLE001 WHERE
CORP = 100 AND
ID# <> 0

GROUP BY
CORP, TYPE, IDNO, ID#, MAJOR, MINOR
ORDER BY
CORP, TYPE, IDNO, ID#, MAJOR, MINOR;

Thank you,

Doug
