Other than syntactic compatibility, what does this accomplish that you
can't with CALL [API Equvilant of CRTUSRPRF] (__PARAMETERS__)?

Its a nice to have, but honestly, if you really want to make user profiles
from SQL, consider making a stored procedure. If you open source it and put
it somewhere like github, I think you'd get some community contributions.

Before you panic I wouldn't suggest it bypass the user needing *SECADM.

And one can already do
ftp myibmi
quote rcmd CRTUSRPRF ...
quit
and a few bazillion other ways of creating user profiles so any "5250 only
or die!" arguments are long dead.

As a side, maybe they'd start supporting the default schema that's part of
those two statements.
