Expect is not an SFTP client. Expect and SFTP are completely and
utterly independent concepts and programs. Whatever timeouts are
configured for SSH have zero relationship to timeouts configured for
Expect.
Expect is just a robot. It feeds data to ANY other program as though
that data were entered by hand. It's not a "client" of anything. It's
just an automation tool.
