Wow, cannot believe I missed that. Read over the documentation so many
times didn't see it.
I didn't think *JFIF was right either, but it's working. Even though the
image is GIF. But I didn't see an option for gif images.

Take a look at the *MAPOPT of the AFPRSC keyword...

Also not sure *JFIF is right...

Now that I've gotten the image downloaded and saved, I need to be able to
attach to a printer file and print it using the AFPRSC keyword.

A R REC1 AFPRSC('testups.gif' *JFIF +
A 0.100 0.100 +
A (*PATH '/home/userdir/') +
A )

When I compile the printer file as DEVTYPE(*AFPDS) and trying to print
the
spool file. The image doesn't print.

However, if I compile with "To Stream file" and workstation customizing
object as *PDF. The PDF has the image.

The problem with the image is that it's TOO BIG. It takes up an entire
page.

Because of that, I tried to add the size keyword.

A R REC1 AFPRSC('testups.gif' *JFIF +
A 0.100 0.100 +
A (*SIZE 6 4) +
A (*PATH '/home/userdir/') +
A )

I thought the *SIZE would shrink the image, but it doesn't, all it does
is
show that portion of the image. The rest is cut off. So how do I reduce
the
size of the image?

I'm not set on how to print this yet. I would prefer to print the spool
file.

Please provide some suggestions. I'm even willing to use PRTSTMF from
scott to take the pdf and print it that way.
