From an old thread, I think you need to have each option of 5733OPS
installed, or the 5733OPS PTFs do not come down.

Yep, I made sure to do that.

Because if IBM add's a new group for 5733OPS and you've not ordered it
yet
it will not show up on GROUP_PTF_CURRENCY? That only compares "groups you already have" with what the current level of that group is at IBM.

I believe you are correct because when I ran GROUP_PTF_CURRENCY it didn't show 5733OPS PTFs even though I know there was one for the latest IBM i
Chroot** addition. I am sorting through the other DB2 Services** to see if one of them will show me PTFs for a given licensed program.

After I run SNDPTFORD, how do I know when the PTFs are ready to be installed? The last time I just waited over my lunch and figured they would be downloaded and then ran GO PTF opt 8. Should I instead be using DSPPTF SELECT(*ONORDER) and if there aren't entries then I know the order is complete? And then I am guessing I can run DSPPTF SELECT(*NOTAPY) to learn which ones aren't yet applied?

Thanks,
