Ignore my previous reply, it requires VIOS which is may not be somewhere
you want to go.

Didn't think through the details - was fixated on something it solves for
us.

Have you looked at the S822 at all ? I understand that is now available in
P10 tier with certain restrictions (2 Procmaximum per LPAR)
