Thanks, Buck. I did a

wrkobj *all/QADSPOBJ *file

and found the QSYSV5R3M0 and QSYSV5R2M0 libraries on the v5r4 system (along with the QSYS)

Best Regards,

Thomas Garvey

Are there different outfile descriptions available on the v5r4 partition
I should use to compile my CL program on the v5r4 partition?
Yes, and here's how I found out.
Prompt for DSPOBJD, press F1 for help, F2 for extended help.
Page down to the OUTFILE parameter. There I read: 'The database format
(QLIDOBJD) of the output file is the same as that used in the
IBM-supplied database file QADSPOBJ.'
Then, issue: dspobjd *all/QADSPOBJ *file
I see on my 7.2 system that there is one file in QSYS and another in
QSYSV6R1M0

Not sure what a 5.4 system would show; you'll need to try it and see.
