delete the LF immediately before the CRTLF (and after the DSPFD...) ?

Rename the existing LF to a temp name?

I am doing a refresh of a test environment and need to recompile an LF
that is pointing to production.

I do a DSPFD to an *OUTFILE and then read that outfile looking for an
LF where the LF library is not the same as the "based on" library.

I do a CRTLF but it fails because the LF already exists.

If I delete the LF first then I can't run the routine again because
that LF won't be in the DSPFD file any more.

How do I get around this?
