Take a look at setting the JDBC connection property, "extended metadata"
to
"true"

That's what iNav RunSQL scripts uses to switch between column names
(false)
and labels (true)

Some more sqlworkbench DB2 gotchas are here. The author is very responsive
on google groups, but lacks an IBM i to test things out he cannot test on
LUW DB2. I'll ask him to make a note of this.
