Update:

It turns out the screen that says: "Update Completed normally" was a
window that popped up BEHIND all the other windows. The update completed
just fine we just did not know it.

I found it when I just started minimizing windows to see if an error
message of some sort popped up.

On to the iFix MH01568.

Started an SP1 installation on an HMC, (CR8). Upgraded to 8.8.3 no sweat.
Putting on the service pack (MH01540) and it gets to pmc.ui.developer and
has not moved for over an hour. Any one else seen this service pack
take
this long? Seems too long to me.
