No need to be secretive of the errors. What errors transpired when
the CCSID was not set [to CCSID(37) per the OP]? Should the reader be
left to assume the error was that there is "no supported translation
between 65535 and &x", or might actually telling them be helpful?
Essentially... Why withhold error information when seeking assistance?
