Where are you executing the SQL. STRSQL, Ops Nav, Embedded SQL? If you go
into STRSQL and do a F13 and change the date format to *ISO and execute the
SQL statement does it work?

What is the date format you are using with SQL? *ISO. If you are using
*YMD, *MDY, etc it is going to choke.
