I can't read that link at the moment (blocked at work) but judging by
the URL, it's a date file, not just sequential integers. I would guess
the cost of calculating dates is much greater than simply generating a
range of integers; thus the benefit of a precalculated date file is
likely greater than a precalculated integer file.
