I had a similar need for a customer that I am doing some RubyOnRails work
for and here is a generic Ruby script I wrote to allow for omission of
certain directories.

subject: Tool for list Ifs Obj size

I'm looking for a Tool for output to a file, all Ifs obj size except
the obj of QNTC/QSYSLIB folder

Where could I find it

Thanks in advance

will print out the ifs directory to a spool file. It currently excludes
QSYSLIB, but modifying it to exclude QNTC is trivial. It my experience this
runs considerably more quickly than RTVDIRINF.
