SSD usage: STRASPBAL vs Media Preference

Couple questions regarding SSD usage:



When using the TRCASPBAL/STRASPBAL method of moving hot/cold data to/from the SSDs, how much capacity of the SSDs will the OS use? Will STRASPBAL *HSM keep with the average capacity usage of the ASP or will it use 100% capacity of the SSDs even if the ASP % is only 50%?

Can you use both methods concurrently? Use Media Preference on some files and also use STRASPBAL with the remaining free space on the SSD? Will the system know which blocks of data are pinned to the SSDs with *MP and not move them?
