Generally there is a hole in the bottom of the drive that you can turn with a security torx driver to reverse the tape back into the cartridge.
This can be accessed once you pull the drive and sled out of the library.

Of course you didn't SAY it was a TS3100/TS3200 style library so I'm just assuming that. :-)
