Not that lame. I am with you on the ambiguity of the help verbiage.
Yeah, it says "available to be received" but it could reasonably be
interpreted as "sender has sent x bytes, so that's how many bytes are
available to be received" or "receiver has allocated x bytes, so
that's how many bytes are available to be received".
Even Chuck intimated in his response that the documentation could have
been clearer. And indeed, that maybe both interpretations were
originally intended!
