Re: Column Description on Create Table (SQL)

Hi Buzz,

LABEL ON COLUMN is used for both TEXT and COLHDG. Text allows for 50
characters and column headings allow for 3 column headings of 20 characters
each within one 60 character text.

/* Set column text */
LABEL ON COLUMN table-name (
CLASS TEXT IS 'Class code' ,
VENDOR TEXT IS 'Vendor code' ,
CREATED_BY TEXT IS 'Created by user' ) ;

/* Set column headings */
LABEL ON COLUMN table-name (
CRNB IS 'Retail Non-Retail Both' ,
CTOINVRETP IS 'Total Inventory Retail Percent' ) ;
