I am looking for advice from anyone who worked on Python with iSeries.

What are some of the advantages of using Python with AS/400 over RPG ?
In what kind of i series applications or industries
(finance/insurance/retail applications where currently AS/400 is used)
Python can be used extensively in combination with iSeries ?
