If both files have the same unique key and all records in FIX file
exist in PROD file then you may try a

CPYF FROMFILE(FIX) TOFILE(PROD) MBROPT(*UPDADD)

This wil update (all fields) PROD file's relevant records with
corrosponding records
from FIX file

Works great in 7.1 , I do not remember if MBROPT(*UPDADD) exists in 5.4
