Okay, I have narrowed down the problem a bit more. I have a window that can operate in 80 and 132 modes. When in 80 column mode (the compiled default) the cursor positioning works fine. But if I use the window so that is activates the 132 mode using the *DS4 conditions then the cursor positions around all wrong. I have also confirmed at the problem occurs with windows defined by default as 132 but which can also operate in 80 mode. The 80 mode cursor positioning works fine, not the 132 mode.

Thanks, Matt

It seems to occur on different fonts and window settings. With the IBM3270 I don't see this problem and if the window is maximize. But on other fonts, MONOSPACED, COURIE NEW in windowed mode then I see the problem.

I can confirm others I work with see this problem too.

Thanks, Matt

Subject: Access Client Solutions - 5250 window cursor positioning

I just got ACS 5250 and I am playing around configuring the product to act
like I want. I have quite a few things down but one is stumping. Whenever
a 5250 window appears and I use the single mouse click inside of a window the 5250 product moves the cursor outside to the left of the window by a number of characters that differs between different windows but is always the same for the way a window appears.

The window keyword is defined to restrict the cursor to the window.

Is there a configuration that is causing this or is this a bug that needs reporting?

Thanks, Matt
