Does it still maintain the date filtering capability so that you can see what changes were made past a specific date? I believe it would since I was told this date change info is tacked on to the last 6 characters of the source member (beyond the 80 char limit)

Since the files are no longer in a physical file SRC member but are on the IFS or some other windows network share do you lose any internal IBM I automatic book keeping mechanisms?

We've been using SVN since '08. Most of the limitations I've encountered were related to the fact we still use native source files/members for our source code.

Subject: Using SVN for RPG Source

Midrange forum,

Does anyone use SVN (Subversion) to store their RPG Source?

What are the limitations / gotchas?

Matt
