Just looking through the achieves and saw this discussion on JobScope.
Did a short contract stint about 18 years ago at a company running JobScope.
A former coworker went to a company (and is still there) about 12 years ago
that runs JobScope. Both company use AS/400 or its successors (let's avoid
that debate, thanks)
JobScope uses COBOL for source when using this platform.
The contract job I was doing was to write custom reports and they wanted me
to write everything in RPG (at that time I used RPG III).
I have not had any recent discussions with the former co-worker, but last
time I spoke with her, they were still using JobScope and happy with it.
