that format has been around since 2012. I wonder if the IBM print transform handles it. Maybe a call to IBM support.

On the other question iText pdf software will create those type of PDF's.
There has been discussions on midrange.com about how to use iText on the IBM i.

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to create PDF/A-1a documents using either Infoprint Server or WSCST(*PDF), or optionally any other IBM provided tool? When I search on google I get some third party software that should be able to do this, but using third party software is not an option in my company. It does mean however that it should be possible, right?

The PDF/A-1a format is a requirement from the government for storing certain files, so any other format is not an option.

We are running V7R1.

Regards,
Erwin Donker
