Scott

there is one thing in your presentation I have tested and is wondering
about ...

data = %str(getenv('QUERY_STRING)); // returns the parms section in EBCDIC

data = %str(getenv(REQUEST_URI)); // returns the whole URI (including
parms) in UTF-8

My server has the directive DefaultNetCCSID 1208

Is there any explanation of this?

My guess is the LWI stuff you've put in your config file is causing
problems. I don't exactly know how that stuff works, as I never use it,
but I think it's diverting all HTTP traffic to the Java application server.

Please start over. Create a new HTTP Server (*not* web services server
and *not* application server, just a regular HTTP server)

Add the directives to that.
