A colleague is putting on ACS and has run into a couple things.
One factor I don't know about - he's using Dropbox to automatically
catch stuff in his My Documents and his Desktop - using Win 7 Enterprise.
First he put on the 1.1.3 from the distribution media - to get the
license set. In this one, running the jar file worked OK, running the
Win64 startup program just made a little black window and disappeared.
OK, so we got 1.1.4 and applied that - moved it to a directory in the C:
drive - tried the startup program again - this time it worked fine!! Cool!
Then we tried to migrate sessions - he has 4. Various settings,
including background color - not sure what else is different!
We select all 4 to add to the migration - only 2 were converted. One
name has more than 8 characters (plus extension) and includes an
underscore. Another was only 5 (plus extension) and still didn't convert.
So my question there - what kinds of things should one look for, to see
what prevented the conversion?
Help is much appreciated. I'm finding a lot to like here - hey another
COOL thing for Jon - I can set the mouse wheel to navigate between tabs
in a tab group! Whoopee!!!
