The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I'd recommend using Scott Klement's DELTREE example as a start.
We use a variation to delete IFS files based on Date, of which there are three
we currently use: QP0L_ATTR_CREATE_TIME, QP0L_ATTR_MODIFY_TIME, QP0L_ATTR_ACCESS_TIME
Just a guess but you might look at: QP0L_ATTR_DATA_SIZE... or QP0L_ATTR_ALLOC_SIZE...
or QP0L_ATTR_EXTENDED_ATTR_SIZE...
Or maybe Scott will jump in and give his standard, excellent, advice.
HTH.

Subject: Anybody know a good way to monitor the size of an IFS STMF
We had a situation in which a STMF carrying log entries apparently grew to several gigabytes without anybody noticing.
Any suggestions on how to keep an eye on such things, so they don't take anybody by surprise?
