Re: problem trying to RST to different location.

Solved!

If I remove the *.* and just list the path name, it restored all but 1 file.

This failed:

CALL PGM(RSTIFS5CL)
300 - RST DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP01.DEVD')
OBJ(('/var/communigate/accounts/mailbox.macnt/*.*' *INCLUDE
'/var/communigate/accounts/mailboxBAK.macnt/*.*')) OUTPUT(*PRINT)


This worked:

CALL PGM(RSTIFS5CL)
300 - RST DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP01.DEVD')
OBJ(('/var/communigate/accounts/mailbox.macnt/' *INCLUDE
'/var/communigate/accounts/mailboxBAK.macnt/')) OUTPUT(*PRINT)


I tested with CRTPRNDIR parameter and it made no difference between *yes and *no.


I did create the mailboxBAK.macnt folder before I did the restore.
