Is the issue you don't know how to write the stored procedure or you don't
know how to do things like temp tables and loop variables in DB2?
Also, do you need temp tables and for loops to solve your problem? In any
relational database platform, using a CURSOR, FOR loopp or any other for of
RBAR (row by agonizing row) is bad practice on any relational database.
There is usually another better way.
Can you instead of a temp table, use a common table expression for example:
