If we were using embedded SQL this would return what I am need. However,
we are using SQL CLI to execute SQL statements and I am needing the
equivalent of the GET DIAGNOSTICS statement.

I appreciate the reply.

Would this be close?

The GET DIAGNOSTICS statement obtains information about the previous SQL
statement that was executed.

We are using SQL/CLI to connect to our databases and I need to be able to
retrieve a count of the rows returned in the result set and I have not
identified the proper SQL/CLI API that provides that information.

Does anyone know which API would return the result set row count?
